We decided at our renewal date this year that we would purchase an SSL Certificate for Life Conquering Blog. Our blog which is also our ministry is now more secure on the internet. This way you can browse through the Blog with peace of mind knowing that the information you provide on sensitive topics will be safe. You can also feel free to leave comments without your information being compromised.
Over the past two years, Google has apparently been screening websites to see if the individual sites are secure and trustworthy to view. If I did not purchase an SSL certificate, Google would deem the blog “not secure”. Those two words would then be posted on my site so that people surfing the internet who find my blog will be alerted to a site that is “not secure”.
